Electronic Divisions of Clauss
Ripley Company is pleased to announce the acquisition of the Fiber Optic/Telecom and Electronic divisions of Clauss, based in Fremont, Ohio. Details of the acquisition have not been made public. Clauss was founded in 1877 and manufactures tools and scissors for the Fiber Optic/Telecom and Electronics markets. The Fiber Optic/Telecom division consists of industry leading fiber optic preparation tools, including the NO-NIK® Fiber Optic Stripper, CC 125 Fiber Optic Cleaver, CFS Fiber Optic Stripper, Kevlar® Shears, Fiber Optic Preparation Kits and Consumables for fiber preparation. "Clauss’ world-class fiber optic preparation tool offering is a natural fit to the Ripley product range," said Ed Dearborn, Vice President and General Manager of Ripley.
