Ripley Introduces Two New Extra Long Tap Tools
New Tap Tool Has Integral Torque Wrench

Cromwell, CT – Ripley’s Cablematic® division is pleased to introduce two new Extra Long Tap Tools, the TT8 and the TT8-TW40 which features an integral torque wrench.

The TT8 is an Extra Long Tap Tool measuring 8 inches (203mm) in length with a 7/16” (11.1mm) shank on its opposite end that allows for the use of the Cablematic® TW Series Torque Wrenches.

The TT8-TW40 adds a 40 in-lb torque wrench attached to a TT8 Tap Tool via a durable swivel mechanism. The TT8-TW40 is ideal for hard to reach locations where a preset torque setting is required on the “F” connector interface. The tool has an audible clicking sound to indicate when the connector is tightened to the factory set torque setting. Other torque settings are available upon request.
